Setting Up User Inactivity Trigger in 4 Steps
Step 1: Login to your Poptin account and click on the pencil icon next to the popup where you want to activate the user inactivity trigger.
Note: If you don’t have a pop-up yet, you can easily create one! As an example, we’ll use this simple pop-up that I created with Poptin just within 3 minutes.
Step 2: Once the design and other elements have been set, click Next on the upper right corner to move on to the Display Rules.
Step 3: Find the Inactivity Trigger option below and set your preferred duration after which the pop up will appear on your screen.
Step 4: And you’re done! You can now publish your pop up.
If ever you hit any roadblocks along the way, you can immediately seek help by clicking the small Message Button at the lower right corner. A chatbox will instantly appear.
To instantly grab attention after the visitor has been inactive for a while, you can add animation.
